February 2000 - The municipal council is conducting a major revision of our existing bylaws (as required by the MRC(regional council)).
August 2000 - These revisions were scheduled for presentation in August 2000. This date came and went.
September 2000 - The proposed bylaw amendments were put forward by the municipal council at the September meeting.
We have purchased a copy ($35) and have reviewed it. View the Summary issued by the municipality
October 20, 2000 - A consultative meeting was held at the municipal hall.
We submitted a request that a minimum 50m lake frontage be required for new lakefront building lots. This seemed to have been removed from the new bylaws.
The council will "consider" this.
March 2001 - The new bylaws have been made public. There is no minimum lake frontage requirement!
